Llechwedd Meats is a family run business established in 1988 selling meat from farm to local catering outlets. Situated in Llangefni, Angelsey, Llechwedd Meats operates a SALSA certificated meat cutting plant, administrative offices, and retail outlet. Facing problems with an ageing PBX phone system, Llechwedd Meats choose to begin a decommission program with the intention to replace the hardware with a new solution with BT Local Business. However, the plan to migrate their service, including existing phone numbers, and deployment of new desktop equipment became problematic with a series of inexplicable delays leading to a loss of confidence in how program was being managed. Meanwhile, the end-of-life hybrid PBX phone system was developing problems impacting business activities.
Following a referral, In2Com was invited to the Llangefni offices to meet the management team to discuss troubleshooting their telecommunications procurement problem. Following an initial visit, we decided to begin an audit of equipment assets, services, contracts and intended deliverables. In comparison, we detailed the customer’s requirements and set about prioritising concerns. Specifically, the customer demanded an urgent solution so we decided to propose an alternative agreement on a short-term basis that included new desktop handsets, with our cloud voice system that would allow the seamless ability to make outgoing calls and navigate around the issues with the legacy PBX. After successfully providing the emergency telephony solution within a few days Llechwedd Meats decided to implement the remaining project with In2Com to include an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) menu system, with PromptVoice, a complete on-hold music, prompt, and messaging service for all incoming customer calls.
